Dead-Wood
The terminally sad and depressed Neil Young, is even more sad and depressed than usual. So much so that he feels an insatiable need to release an anti-Trump album on our jaded earholes. The squeaky Canadian claims to have eight ‘songs’ (sic) in the can so far with more on the way (Groan!).
Young (96), bravely battling his TDS, says he wants only peaceful, non-violent resistance to the Republican Nazis, although a recent blog of his suggested that Trump should be assassinated. Often. Like that other has been Springsteen, Young has that tired self-importance of the dying star who believes that everyone hangs on his every pronouncement. Never mind though, they’ll both be worm fodder one day. Can’t come quick enough. He’s been to Hollywood according to his heart of gold. Just waiting for him to go to ‘Deadwood’ again..........
So I won’t exactly be rushing out to buy the TDS album. If I was a southern man I wouldn’t want the miserable bastard around, anyhow. And certainly not caterwauling through my speakers. Even my old mate Graham, whose taste in music is questionable, at best, wouldn’t buy it!
Meanwhile the failing EU despite not being a sovereign state or country, has decided to develop its own “honours system” to rival the Nobel Awards - And among the first to get such worthless Eurogongs are Ex-Stasi informant, reformed Commie and tubby naturist Angela Merkel, Aid grifter Zelenskyy (I wouldn’t buy a used piano from him), and Bonehead and The Vedge who haven’t produced anything worthwhile musically for many years now.
I surmise that also hot to be in pole position for the hew honour (HonoEUr?) will be our very own Oyster-Eyed BBC hack Jeremy Bowen, for services to the fictional news genre who will doubtless beat The Babylon Bee by miles.
Which reminds me, didn’t Bonehead promise that if Trump won the last US election he’d drive his car over a cliff? I’m sure I heard that … somewhere.
But unless I missed his IRA state funeral of course, I’m still waiting for news of his vertical, gravity assisted demise ... though I am happy to recommend any number of suitable cliffs!! And the overpriced Shades industry floggers will be queueing up to sponsor his glorious, last leap to fame!
Totally agree Mick , they're all Marxists at the BBC, Bowen , Fiona Bruce, I don't think they meet normal hard working people at all. It's like watching some surreal horror show.
As for Young and Springsteen I used to like their earlier music not now they've gone over to the dark side !

As the Dear Wife said when I read to her, your commentary on Neil, she recalled our good friend and neighbor who has been captured by the narratives pushed by CNN. Every single time I go over to his house, the TV is always tuned to CNN as I imagine Neil’s TV is locked in on CNN. Both of these cats are consumed with their versions of TDS. Fortunately, my neighbor shows some willingness to at least, hear me point out the extremes of his TDS and I am able to push back with some success against the narratives he is getting directly from CNN. It is an uphill battle with him but I try anyway.
